  Berton's POV   I returned not feeling good at all. I couldn't just believe my mother and the things she was trying to achieve with the way she had been behaving recently towards Emily and I. I knew I had to speak to her because she was surely going to do worse if she wasn't stopped right now. Something had to be done and I was going to do that right away.
