The gravel crunched softly underfoot as Ethan and I made our way toward the shadowy edge of the black market.
The air was tense and heavy, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. My wolf, Cora, was restless inside me. She never stopped pacing, her instincts on high alert.
