(Clara) By Friday afternoon, I was convinced the research project was trying to kill me. Not literally, probably. But after spending three hours reviewing patient data and another two hours preparing reports, I was beginning to understand why medical researchers looked permanently exhausted. I sat in one of the smaller conference rooms with several project members, staring at my laptop screen while trying to make sense of the numbers in front of me.
