Maria's POV
After the flopped dinner event with Sebastian and his sister, I buried myself deep inside work and life as Nathan's mother to avoid him and the troubles that came with him.
Whenever he called I was either busy with work or Nathan hence there was no time to have lengthy conversations or even see him.
Two weeks later, I was invited to be a guest speaker in one of the biggest conferences that was held in the legal sphere in collaboration with the business sphere.
