Sebastian's PoV
The beep of my phone distracted me from the document I was working on.
‘Where are you? I've got news.’
It was a text from Maria, and seeing as she doesn't call or text except it is absolutely necessary, I called her immediately, wondering what the news could be.
She picked on the second first dial and repeated. “Where are you? I've got news.”
I laughed, catching her excitement and replied. “I am still in my office. You want to come over to share the news?”
“Exactly what I had in mind.” She replied excitedly and I wondered what got her all excited.
We talked some more as she made her way to my office then after we hung up the call, I texted my secretary to instruct the office assistant to get food from Maria's favourite restaurant.
