I tilt my head to the left as I peak around the corner to see my mom and dad talking in hush voices. So hushed that I couldn’t even see if their mouths were actually moving. Wait, they're probably talking through their mind link. Damn.
"Dani." My mom calls as I lean back around the wall hoping that she didn’t see me.
"Yes ma’am." I call back in a whisper, thinking it would sound more muffled than it actually was.
"I know you're right there, you aren't a ninja like me!" She exclaims as I stand up from my crouch position.
"Am so." I exclaim back.
"Nah-uh." she replies.
"Stop, please." My father mumbles.
"We got some news." my mum says happily.
"Where's Dominic?" I ask coming from around the corner.
"He's holding a meeting." My father explains patting on of the seats.
"What’s up then?" I sit down where he patted as they watch me do so making me roll my eyes.
"You're going to be a big sister." My mum screams happily.
Dad smiles widely at her then at me. My jaw drops as I scrunch up my face. My mom smile drops as she watches me.
"Oh no. She doesn't want to be a big sister." my mum says shaking my fathers arm.
"No, not that. It’s the fact that you two still have sex." I reply to them frowning and sticking my tongue out pretending to throw up.
"Oh hush." My dad mumbles smirking and I feel myself get sick. Gross, my parents are gross.
"Oh." my mom lets out a breath smiling at me. "I thought you were going to hate me."
"Mom, please. A new addition to the family is what we need." I smile but feel a shudder approach crawling up my spine.
"I'm glad you say that." my mom chirps. She stands up and goes into the kitchen and brings out a pie. I glance at my father as he watches me and shrug. "I made a pie. Its cherry, I know you despise apples."
"With a passion." I add standing up so that we are closer.
My mom laughs. "Yes, with a passion."
"I think there's more to this baby business." I mumble watching both my parents.
My mom danced around the kitchen as I sat down at the island and My dad sits next to me bumping shoulders with me. I glanced at my father sticking my tongue at him as he rolls his eyes.
"Calm down. Your mom is happy. Plus, she loves to cook." My father smirked at my mum and she just smiled back happily, that was a total lie because she hates cooking but baked when she was either stressed or happy, but this seemed like a both situation.
My mom passed me a plate of the pie, and to tell you the truth. It looked good. The cherry goodness oozed out the middle spilling on to the plate. I grinned widely and gobbled it down happily.
"Slow down, damn. There more, I hope you know.” My father mumbles. “She acts as if we don't feed her."
"At least I don't forget to feed somebody." Mum grumbled back. My father groaned grumbling something under his breath, he knew mom will never let him live that down and he knows not to say anything about food around her.
A knock came to the front door as I glanced at my parents. They watch the door then back at me and I just shrugged going back to eating. My father nudges me again making me growl, wipe my mouth of the delicious goodness and going towards the door. Another knock came as I rolled my eyes.
"Almost there. Calm down with all that damn knocking." I called.
"Language." My father demands and i bow smirking at him before I open the door.
"Hello. I'm Alpha Marshall." The tall guy boomed.
“Um, goodbye." I mumbled slowly closing the door but he stopped it his eyes narrowing.
"Where's Alpha Carter." He asked bitterly.
"If you're going to be mean." I stopped talking to calm myself down taking a deep breath and smiled slightly. "Then you can leave. You found your way here, you know the way out."
"Ahh, Alpha Marshall, long times no see, eh." My father smiles walking up behind me pushing me slightly to the side and shaking Marshall Hands.
"Same here brother. I see your daughter still doesn't know how to respect her elders." Marshall glares at me and I smirk up at him.
"That's my daughter." My father smiles patting my shoulder and looking down at me, then rolls his eyes.
"I'm here to talk about arrangements." Marshall says.
My father nods stiffly and clears his throat. "Let's go into my office."

I glance at my mom and roll my eyes. For the pass hour and half she has been pacing in front of me and it was annoying me to the max, I knew something was up.
"Mum, what is wrong with you?" I asked.
"Nothing, nothing." She mumbles more to herself but I knew she was doing it so she didn’t spill the beans.
Dominic frame came in to view as he smiled at my mother. He glanced at me quickly then did a double take.
"What you do now?" He mumbles.
"She's done nothing. Don't blame this on her." my mom snaps, growling at him. He jumps away from her outburst, frowning slightly.
"Why is dad talking to that Marshall guy mum?" I asked.
"Oh. That’s the guy that has the Academy on his land. The one that Derek is going to for the year." Dominic explains shrugging.
I nod. "So why is mom in such a panic?" I ask leaning back into the sofa knowing what was coming next.
"Well, you’re going too, haven’t they told you."
