Chapter 39 Michael didn’t find out much from Jianjun’s computer that he didn’t already know, especially since more than half of what was there was in Chinese. He already had Irina’s former address and information about her job at the Hermitage. And it offered no hint as to Jianjun’s interest in the Theosophists. He rented a small, inconspicuous Russian car, a Lada, so he could get around town more easily as he checked out hospitals, and even the Canadian consulate. He had heard nothing from the police since filing the missing person’s report. That night, he decided to go to the Theosophist meeting—not inside, but to simply watch who went in or out.
