Chapter Seven Darkness settled all around him like a warm blanket. He swathed himself in it, pulling it tighter over his head, tucking the sheets beneath his chin, curling the edges under his toes so that the blackness could not escape. Reece knew that outside the large, downy comforter the sun had risen. For the first time since he'd awakened to darkness, he wanted to greet the day. He was finally looking forward to something.
