I hightailed it to the costume shop on the town border in Woodland. The costume shop hadn't called, but an emergency to them and an emergency to me were probably two different things. I parked the SUV and climbed down a few steps to the garden-level floor of a brownstone building. I walked through the door, noticing dozens of mannequins artfully arranged in scenes. Each held a sign describing the type of costumes and which floor and section to find them in. The building had five floors and was divided into four quadrants or rooms on each one. In the lower garden-level were steps going up to the second floor and another door leading to the cellar.
