“Mom, this is Stephanie with Alex and Melanie. How are you doing?” I called her in the afternoon.
“Stephanie, my girl. It is very good to hear from you. Have you been flying?”
“Last week I was in my office planning, training people, and getting organized. I will be back on an airplane on Monday.”
“How is Melanie?”
“Here, you can talk to her.” I gave her the phone.
“Hi, Mom.”
“Melanie. It’s good to hear from you. What’s going on?”
“On Tuesday I begin a weeklong trip to South America. I am looking forward to seeing another part of the world.”
“Have a fantastic trip, Melanie. Can I speak to Alex?”
