Chapter 13

1011 Words

ROBERTO My trip had to be cut short. Or rather, I cut it short because as much as I'd hate to admit it, I was missing Cassandra. Just staring at those blue eyes of hers was enough to make me drown, like in an ocean. Earlier in the morning, I had phoned home and told Maria I would be returning but no one should make mention of it to Cassandra. I wanted to surprise her. What I didn't expect was to find her in the shooting range. The minute I had gotten back to the mansion, I went up excitedly to her bedroom, only to meet an empty room. Getting back to the kitchen, I asked Maria about her whereabouts but she had no idea. I was scared, especially after what happened during my trip. The guards outside finally told me she went to the training ground but on getting there, I couldn't find her.
