CLARA
A smile graced my face as I opened my eyes slowly. I turned around, expecting to feel the warmth emanating from Roberto's body but I was met with emptiness. I flung my eyelids open. Roberto was not in the observatory. So much for expecting to wake up in his arms.
"Hey baby". His voice interrupted my thoughts.
"Hey". I smiled.
In his hand was a tray of coffee and cookies. I can't imagine that I had thought of him badly.
"Got you something for your tummy. I thought you might be hungry after our yunno, strength-sapping exercise last night".
He winked and I blushed.
" Thank you Roberto. That's very thoughtful of you".
He lay it on the blanket and gave me a quick kiss on the lips. Sitting opposite me, he crossed his legs and watched me with a smile.
