10am, La Amor De Familia in Beverly Hills

That's where they decided to meet up, now Raine had about two or more outfits she could wear to such a place, as she had used them to blend into other places her work needed her to, but could she really do this?, the taxi ride alone was a hell of money

Never the less that morning she agreed to do it, immediately the call cut she went to sleep like a baby and woke up two hours later, Beverly Hills was quite far from her shabby neighborhood in Los Angelos

She wore a simple royal blue dress that ended at her knees and was embedded with stones, she did light make up, just some red lipstick and eye shadow to pop out her hazel eyes, she also added eye liner, she used everything with such perfection , she also curled her red hair giving her an elegant look

Finally she left the house at around 8:40am and got herself a taxi, seeing she had no bag with her she stuffed her money in her b*a, and also her phone after she silenced it

Like she predicted the ride there took forever but then when she paid the man, came out of the car, she felt like her old self again, the old self she made a mess out of

It was exactly 10am now so she entered the restaurant, with her chin up, leaving her head high and not giving people the chance for second thoughts

"You want me to investigate your daughter's death?!", Raine whisper yelled

Mrs Williams had led her to a private area in the restaurant and ordered food for both of them, clearly the woman was up tight and controlling

But then as she started talking about her daughter, Amber , tears slowly formed in her eyes, for some reason Raine thought the woman looked over the top and dramatic, she later came to the conclusion it wasn't so, it was her daughters life afterall

It wasn't long after she dropped the bomb about Raine investigating what happened to her daughter

"Yes Miss Raine, this is all I ask of you and don't forget you will make quite a large amount of money from it", she replied like it was nothing, now smiling at Raine

For a minute Raine gave it thought, she really needed the money and besides it was just like any other job she had done, except it has to do with attempted murder, a voice in her head said

"How much?", Raine finally said

"5,000 dollars per day, and you'll live in my house, with my family so you'll be able to investigate everyone we know", Mrs Williams made it sound all so easy and tempting

She would get 5,000 dollars per day, that was more than enough for her but then she would also get a house to stay while doing the job

Enough for time for her to save some money up to get a better apartment

But then she had never done this type of job and she never actually related with the people she was investigating, she was always incognito

But in a way she still was

"Where's the contract I have to sign?", Raine asked smiling slightly, and the smile was returned

"I am deeply grateful for this", Mrs Williams stated bring out a file from her channel bag

As Raine read the probably drafted contract she noticed that the money also added for her to change her name, like she didn't know that already

"What name do you prefer?", Raine asked not looking up from the contract

"Becky Shane", the name got Raine gapping like fish, her body trembling, and her eyes slightly popping

"What?", she asked still shaking, tears filling her eyes, everything suddenly blurred, she held the tears back though with a fake smile

"Is there a problem with the name?", Mrs Williams asked looking innocent, for a second Raine thought it was a coincidence that she chose the name, but she knew better than to believe that

"Why did you choose it?", Raine asked while a lump formed in her throat, she tried to act nonchalant but she knew no one would fall for that act

"A friend of mine, her daughter ran away from home last year and I just assumed that you won't mind taking her identity", Mrs Williams spoke looking at the air, clearly something had come to mind, "but you know what never mind, that's a bad idea, word might get back to them and you don't look anything like their daughter I think, I don't really remember since she hardly ever attended any gala or event"

"Well that can't work then", Raine faked a smile as she kept tapping the table, suddenly feeling anxious

"Let's go with Raine Benedict", the woman smiled

"Why do you want Raine?" Raine felt the need to ask this question, the woman was acting oddly suspicious to her

"Because I am bad with these things, I might mistakenly call you Raine or something", For the first time Raine saw Mrs Williams look sheepish

"Well then Raine Benedict, I'm your new protege", Raine smiled standing up and bringing out her hands to be shaken by Mrs Williams

However the woman had other plans, as soon as she stood up she pulled Raine to her and gave her a big up , "Thank you", she whispered , Raine could feel her back becoming slightly wet from some stray tears of Mrs Williams but she said nothing but hugged the sad woman back

Immediately they pulled apart their meals arrived

Mrs Williams got the Snail Casserole while Raine was trying to understand how they made it, and that looked nothing like a casserole

Raine got some simple pasta with lamb meatballs

They both eat in silence, both slightly picking their food wondering what they had gotten into

Raine however managed to finish her food as she had not eaten that morning and the food was amazing, she took a sip of the white wine Mrs Williams ordered as well, from the taste she knew it was very expensive

"Thanks for the meal man, I guess I should go home and pack now" Raine states standing up

"There's no need dear, everything you need will be bought when you are ready, we're going straight to my house where I'll introduce you",Mrs Williams replied ringing a tiny bell, probably calling the waiter back

"Well mum I think you should introduce her to me first", they heard a deep silky voice say with a chuckle

Mrs Williams suddenly tensed but Raine had no idea who this man in front of her was, he moved to her and grabbed her hand lightly kissing it

"Raine meet my son, Aaron"
