Piper       I paced back and forth in the foyer, worried to death. It’s been hours and the guests were long gone. I had no choice but to dismiss everyone, thanking them for coming and apologizing for Luciano’s sudden departure.       I kept looking at the clock and my heart was sinking every minute that passed.       ‘You are starting to care for him,’ I thought. Shaking my head in disapproval, I heard the door slam open. Enzo carried Luciano in, making me open my eyes wide in horror when I saw blood all over them.        “What happened?” I asked, raising my hand to cover my mouth, tears threatening to roll down my cheeks.        “Shooting at the casino,” Enzo answered as he dragged Luciano to his bedroom. I followed them and stood by the door, seeing the chaos unfold in his bath
