Enzo       Ava was a beautiful woman. Even with all the cuts and bruises, she looked like an angel.      Why are you thinking that? You’re not supposed to like her. You can’t love anyone, I thought.        We were playing board games and the game turned into screams and laughter from her as she tried to yank away the dice from my hands. I couldn’t help but smile myself, enjoying her company and her great sense of humor. She was good at playing them, and almost all the time she would win.       I had to admit, I was having fun.        Piper had come in to check on her and I started picking the game up when I saw Ava’s disappointment in her eyes.         “Wait. we’re not done yet” she said, trying to stop me.       I just shrugged, not saying a word and walked out of the room,
