Mistletoe Madness

The party was still in full swing when they stumbled out into the cold, laughing all the while. Music sounded behind them—jazzy Christmas songs, with the occasional karaoke added to the mix—and laughter echoed in the background. For an office party, it had been pretty fun—Leda had certainly had a good time, drinking mulled wine and eating her fill of gingerbread and fruit cake while she chatted to her coworkers. Toward the end of the evening there had been dancing; by then most people were at least a little bit tipsy, nursing a second or third glass of eggnog, and there had been plenty of embarrassing moves to show off.
