Life in Distinguished Domestics settled down for Arthur by the third week. By then his bearing and manner had improved to where he wasn’t being constantly corrected. He knew the drill and could almost always anticipate the requests of the women he was serving. There were only five women in permanent residence who were staff members responsible for training the maids but new women visited every week to take advantage of the high level of service provided by the trainees. It was an unknown gem in the world of luxury hotels and spas.
