I caught sight of her looking small and terrified, my blanket still clutched tightly around her tiny body. It took all my control not to scoop her in my arms. I had changed. She took her show, then headed down. There was something off. She didn’t remember me, the twins, or Mikhail, her uncle. I’m determined to get to the bottom of this.

I demanded, “So, who are you?”

“My name is Maisie Drummond.” I saw Mikhail jerk at her last name. What in the f**k. I was furious and devastated she’d fallen into Gavriil’s hands at Crag Rock. I had to accept something had happened to her in the three years she was gone.

“So, now you find yourself with me” my tone, trying to convey acceptance as I gazed at her. I heard her belly growl and I gave a short bark of laughter. The others chuckled.

I quirked a brow at her murmur of beautiful people. I sent the twins a warning look as they started to tease her. I couldn’t take my eyes off her. Hanna to save food. Does she want cake? She always wanted cake, even as a small child. Tati is the same as a baby who always wants cake. She looked at Hanna and said the strangest thing, ' Do you have someone baking a cake or something? It smells amazing.”

She asked again if they were baking a cake. I grinned at the twins, Blossom and Hanna. They all laughed and teased her.

Then she said my scent was mouthwatering. s**t, I moved away before my c**k decided it was a good time to stand at attention.

I flicked Hanna a f**k off look. I moved closer to help Maisie up, moving to take her hand. I saw her flinch away, and it felt like a knife in my gut. She cowered and put her arms up. I froze, and my stomach lurched. What the f**k happened to my sweet girl.

I dropped my hand slowly. I had to move carefully with her. Without touching I motioned for her to follow me. “Let’s go find you some cake, Da, Little Wolf?” I knew she was surrounded, but I was damned if something happened to her again. I know Mikhail felt the same.

I had the twins and Hanna surrounded her. She followed us into the kitchen. I felt her walk into me, I spun around, pulling her into my arms, snarling at the twins for daring to touch her. Fuckers would give me s**t for months now.

Blossom was standing by the stove when she came in. She turned, and a wide smile spread across her face.

She opened her arms wide, and the little girl ran to her, I looked around as Tati went straight to her. Watching her cradle my daughter in her arms I was rocked to the core. Aside from the hair color they were the same, my wolf bellowed, mate, the pup I felt the twins grab my arms to keep from snatching them up in my arms. I caught sight of her beautiful face and realized I’d scared her, f**k me…..I keep screwing up. I linked Mikhail. Get one of those DNA tests, this would rock her parents.

The twins and Blossom took a step back and watched her with Tati. f**k, they all love her already.

I listened to Alexei giving Blossom and Dimi s**t. I sent Dmitri a link Claim Blossom already then closed it.

Mikhail came in and handed the test to Hanna and murmured something to her. He glanced at me and then the twins, and then looked over at Blossom. He moved closer and leaned down. He whispered something to her, and she flushed.

I glared “Silence” I commanded, then leaned back in my chair crossing my arms over my chest and waiting for Maisie to speak the others were waiting I nearly bellowed at Blossom, but she was right and gave her permission to interrupt, and f*****g Hanna had to throw her two cents worth in. I bellowed in my link to Mikhail to contain his mate or I’d beat her, he laughed, I narrowed my eyes at Hanna, then turned my gaze back to Maisie and listened to the most god-awful s**t come out her mouth.

I hated seeing the twins holding her hand, I know why they did it, but it still f*****g pissed me off, then more so when I saw how tight her grip was. I wanted to kill Orlov and every member of that pack, no one should be treated like that. I saw Hanna jotting down what she was saying. There were so many implanted memories it wasn’t funny

I didn’t touch her. Instead, I took her hand and led her towards the kitchen. I knew she’d smell the honey cake that Blossom had made earlier.

My wolf was chuffing in my mind. Mate, our mate, the pup, take her.

I slipped her the ring and then left.

“Called it” I heard Hanna’s voice and looked up and gave her the evil eye. I got outside and let out a long, loud roar, and I heard the answering roars. I linked the twins, Mikhail, and Alexei, I want a guard on her. At least 24/ 7.

Mikhail nodded, and I turned to go in when he stopped me.

“Niko, what are we going to do? Do you have a plan?”

“Da, we end the threat. Someone took our Maisie on the ride from here to your brother’s 3 years ago. Someone took Tati two days ago. We find who took them. I’m calling Luka home.”

I rubbed my face. “Get a rush on the DNA. I don’t think Tati was left in our territory as a newborn for some random ass reason.”

“What do we do now? Niko, I don’t think Luka will come back. He left when she was 10. Only came home on and off for the past 10 years.” Mikhail sounded almost remorseful.

“Now, we go kill the mother fuckers”

“Da, Niko. Now, we kill the mother fuckers.
