Seven years later
Alex Junior was standing outside the hospital along with his Mom, Margery while a number of reporters were standing in front of them waiting for the Mayor’s husband to make an official statement.
“Alex…why did you not reveal the gender and waited until the birth? Is that what the Mayor wanted?” asked one of them.
Alex Jr. smiled calmly and said,” We both wanted it to be a surprise. We have a healthy baby boy waiting at home for a brother or sister and today we can say that we have been blessed with a baby girl who weighed a little shy of seven pounds at birth.”
