Adams truly wasn't expecting to see May at home, and she obviously wasn't looking so well either.
"What are you doing here?"
"Shouldn't I be asking you the same." Adams unknowingly replied.
May raised her eye brow, giving him a look that says 'are you kidding me?', but she still decides to answer him, after all he is her boss. "I called in sick today since I wasn't feeling well."
"Oh, sorry about that, hope you're feeling better."
"I am, if all goes well, I should resume work tomorrow." She replied. Adams nodded.
"What brings you here?" May asked once more, but she could already guess the answer to that question.
Adams sighed deeply. "I know you hate, you obviously made it clear the last time, but please, just this once, I really need to see Alicia, I'm begging you." He pleaded.
