After walking down the corridors of the top floor, she finally located Vanessa's chamber. She knocked a few times but there was no response, just as she was about to leave. A voice came from inside, "come in."
Zoey gently pushed the door open, and found Vanessa sitting on the bed.
"Hey, Zoey," Vanessa greeted her, her voice filled with warmth.
"Hi, Vanessa," Zoey greeted back as she walked to sit beside her.
"This mansion is so enormous that I feel lost until I saw a maid that directed me to your chamber. How are you? Are you okay? You look somehow down," Zoey asked.
