Micah dropped the phone. She couldn't believe what she had read! It was a message regarding her absence at lunch… with Jack Dickson. She was supposed to meet with him and forgot. So much had been going on that day that she didn't even include it on her calendar.
How will she explain to the CEO of Dickson Publications - her boss' boss - that she forgot to meet up with him? Her phone beeped again, it was another alert. She picked the phone up off of the floor to read the text.
