Chapter Nineteen

I woke up with a twisted feeling in my stomach, I sat up covered my mouth and ran to the bathroom, I was sick. I'm never sick.
My head was pounding also. "Damn it!" I mumbled.
"you okay?" A voice from behind me asked.
"yeah, I'm hungover, I'm never hungover unless I drink vodka.." I said trailing off.
"yeah Mel dared you to drink a bottle" Norman said rubbing my back
"Urg. b***h. I need fresh orange juice and scrambled eggs with peppers" I said he looked confused.
"hangover cure" he nodded and walked to the kitchen and started cooking food for both of us. I walked through holding my head and the wall "the room is spinning" I groaned walking into the corner of a door "ow!" I mumbled Norman chuckled walked over and helped me sit down.
"What happened? Mel knows I blank out on vodka." I asked him
"I don't know I can't remember all of it. But I remember most, I remember you telling us why you don't drink vodka, and then Mel dared you, she said that if she's hungover you have to be too and you done her dare, then Ian dared you to kiss me and you did so.. i don't remember what happened after that until we were leaving, I remember the air hitting me and the rum getting to me more and then we woke up."
He shrugged as we ate our food I nodded "I'm going to kill her, you have a pot and a metal long spoon right?" I asked him
"yes, I like your thinking. I have to record that" he chuckled replying to my evil plan. I looked at the clock 1pm
"what time did we get home?" I asked and he just shrugged I think it was a couple hours ago. We finished eating and I got changed out of last nights clothes putting on clean underwear I grabbed one of Normans tops "lazy day until later" I said and he nodded grabbing his phone to record what I was going to do.
I had a spare key to my apartment. We walked in being as quiet as possible "Mel will sleep through everything apart from this. But first Ian! Cold water!" I smirked..
I grabbed the pot and filled it up of cold water. We sneaked into Ian's room "ready?" I whispered.
"yeah" he whispered back! I threw the cold water over Ian's face
"shower time!" I smirked and he grumbled at me!
"I'll get you for that!" He shouted and we sneaked into my room to find Mel all over the bed Norman was still recording I started banging the pot and spoon while jumping on the bed
"dude no stop!" Mel shouted getting up an running to the toilet and be sick.
I burst out laughing "karma's a b***h" I shouted and Norman posted the video online.
I went back next door and headed for the shower before Norman could get in first "hey Sage?" He said through the door
"yeah?" I asked.
"I wanna take you out tonight." He said
"uh- really?" I asked
"yes!" He laughed
"okay what time?" I asked
"8pm taking your car, I'm driving" he shouted back through the door.
"do I have a choice?" I asked walking through in a towel.
"nope." His eyes wondered my body.
"okay well it's 3:30pm now, I need to go show them two where the store is so they can keep themselves stocked. I'll be back by 6pm and oh hey!... My eyes? Are up here!" I said pointing to my eyes and he smirked.
I went over to where he sat on the bed and he wrapped an arm around my waist, "I know but your beautiful" he replied I bent down and kissed him leaning into him more and he leaned back against the bed.
Things were getting pretty heated quite fast. "I... Got to... Get ready" I said standing up holding my towel on an he just grumbled. It was funny seeing him frustrated like that.
I'm gonna tease him even more tonight. I threw on a sweater and a leggings and my boots. Norman's eyes watched my like a hawk "can't I come with?" He asked.
"no it's okay. I need some girl time with Mel after dropping Ian off at the mall in Atlanta so he can apply for jobs and get his own place." He nodded and pouted.
I walked over and wrapped my arms around his neck and kissing him again only he stood up and picked me up so my legs where around his waist, I tugged on the bottom of his hair as we kissed, hearing a couple of moans escape his mouth I chuckled "your teasing that's not fair" he pouted again.
"mhm I know, but I'm a tease" I said sticking my tongue out to him. He placed me down and hugged me and then went to kiss me but instead licked my face "you're disgusting!" I replied walking away.
"I'll see you tonight babe" he replied laughing.
I walked to my door and knocked they both came to the door ready "you were supposed to be here ten minutes ago" Ian said
"shut up lets go!" I replied.
We got into the car and headed the nearest store, this is it. "It's a 5 minute drive so 10-15 minute walk, now I'll show you the other shops here. Then we got to Atlanta." I smiled at them both.
"Why can't we just head to Atlanta?" Ian asked.
"well I'm going out tonight and want something to wear so while you apply for some shops here, Mel is gonna help me find some stuff." I replied.
"all the good dress shops are in Atlanta" she said
"I know but I wanna look around" I said. The drive was about 30 more minutes. "Ian be back in 20 minutes!" I said as he ran off.
We were walking passed some shops and still couldn't find a good one so we headed to the car and as we got there Ian was just coming out smiling of a shop "good news? Who's number did you get?" I asked.
"the managers and HE offered me a job. I start next week!" He beamed.
"well congrats" I smiled.
"that means we don't have to go to Atlanta right?" He asked
"we are still going! I need a dress and shoes!" I replied.. It was about a hours drive to Atlanta when we finally arrived at the mall, I parked the car
"hey sage, you still got the Xbox?" Ian asked I nodded "good I'm goin to get some games. I'll see you guys at the car in a hour!" He said and ran off before I could say anything.
We walked passed a clothes shop that looked good, we walked in and Mel was pointing out all these dresses that were nice but I didn't fancy them. "Wait I'm call Norm and ask about the dress code." She nodded and I pulled my phone out
"hello?" He said.
"hey, just wanted to know what the dress code was?" I asked
"em, I'm wearing a suit, so probably wear a dress.
Short or long" he replied
"okay bye!" I hung up and told Mel what he said. A dress caught my eye at the back of the store, it was a mint dress. Mel saw what I was looking at and smiled
"get it! Now!" She said I walked up pulled the correct size of the hanger and smiled I also saw a pair of shoes that looked amazing with the dress! I payed for the items and walked back to my car "wait here, I need to go grab something, I'll be two minutes." Mel said to me I sat in the car and decided to call Norman since it was only 5;30pm.
"hey baby" he said
I smiled "hi" I replied.
"whatcha doin?" He asked
"just bought a dress and it's amazing! Now I waiting on Ian and Mel coming back. Ian got a job he starts next week!" I said
"that's great for him and you could wear sweatpants and a hoody and you'd still look beautiful" he said
"aw Norm, stop I'm blushing" I teased
"very funny. So when you getting home?" He asked me again
"well I'm just waiting on them coming back to the car and then we are leaving, but you don't get to see me until 8pm. Well you'll get to see me before hand as I need to get my makeup from your apartment." I smiled into the phone seeing Ian approaching me.
"there's Ian spending my money even more" I said
"now now, he's your brother" Norman replied quickly
"shut up, you can't prove that" I said offended and Norman chuckled "oh there's Mel, I'm gonna go so I can drive, see you in about a hour" I hung up the phone and got into the car.
"What did you get Mel?" I asked
"a little present for you for letting me stay at your place." She said said smiling an handing me the bag I opened it an pulled out what was inside.
"you got me lacy underwear? Really dude?" I said putting them back in the bag she nodded
"now I'm scarred for life. I also bought you something, as a thank you" Ian pipped in and handed me a box I opened the box and tears came to my eyes, it was a little ring saying sister in the infinite symbol with the carvings 'to the worlds best sister, don't know where I would be without you."
"aw thank you Ian" I said placing it on my finger and he smiled at me, I started driving it was about a hour before we get back it was now 7pm. s**t I had a hour to get ready! I ran upstairs and grabbed my makeup bag and ran back next door.
I applied my foundation and winged my eyeliner and applied mascara, blusher and picked a nice rosy pink lipstick, I struggled trying to find something for my hair. I sighed and decided to put it into a messy bun, I always suited my hair like that and it looked nice.
Mel walked into the room and handed me the underwear "you're wearing that tonight!" She said I rolled my eyes but don't argue it was now 7;30pm.
I ran to the bathroom and put the underwear on and the dress I stepped out grabbing the heels and putting them on too. It was now about 7:55pm and there was a knock on the door. Probably Norman. I felt Nervous about this! Damn it!
