Everything was ready. I couldn’t believe that the day had finally arrived. I glanced around the sitting room, making sure that nothing was sticking out that would scream out birthday party. Cameron would be arriving soon and for now, Joyce, Matilda, Nia, and Luke were the only ones inside the house. Others were outside in the backyard, setting things up and the rest of the pack members were back in their homes, waiting for the party to begin. I smoothed out my soft mint colored knee-length dress and checked the time on my phone. He should be here already.
