let's get this started. my name is Emery Rose. i live in L.A, California. i live with my mom and my sister. i dress kinda grunge so one day i might be a normal teenage girl and the next all be wearing all black.  

now back to reality

"Get up!" i groan and sit up

"get up and put on something cute because it's junior year and maybe oh maybe that guy you had a crush on for 3 years will notice you" and with that, she left and i got up and got in the shower

After My Shower

i'm searching through my closet like a madwoman cause i couldn't find anything to wear and so i decided on this: a pair of black ripped jeans, a marbled PINK FLOYD crop top, and a pair of black and white vans. 

"you look nice" my sister said as i walked down the stairs.

"thank you"

"i got you something."

"you do know that my birthday isn't until November. it's still august."

"think of it as an early birthday gift." i take the gift bag and open it

it was a painted phone case. it was the night sky and the bottom it was blue and white colors blended together like the ocean wave 

"did you paint this?" she nods.

i take the phone case and give her a hug.  

"do you want me to drive you to school," Sam asks as i put the phone case on my phone

"no, I'll skate."

"Alright see you when i get home" sam left and i got ready to leave.

i grabbed my skateboard and left. i don't really need my backpack cause everything I need is in my locker.

i went to go pick up Danni, my best friend, so we could go to school together on our skateboards.

"hey," Danni says looking me up and down

"hey and stop looking at me like that."

"I'm sorry but are you wearing makeup?" 

"I've always worn makeup."

"Something about you is different."

"i dyed my hair. now, are you ready."

"Yeah, let's go," he said grabbing his skateboard

At School

"it's junior year are you going for it"

"i don't know."

"well, you better."

"why is it so important that i should go out for Asher?"

"because you've had a crush on him for 3 years and he has yet to notice you and you guys live right next to each other. I'm also tired of you upset."

"fine, I'll try but you have to promise me you'll go out for Lia "

"w-what?" he blushed and stuttered

"dude I've seen you around her, your whole body language changes."

"fine, but you have promise that if we do get in a relationship that we stay best friends."

"i promise."

"pinky?" Danni said holding up his pinky

"i love but i got to get to first period." i give him a hug and walk away, but as i was walking he shouted "I LOVE YOU!" down the hall. i fell my cheeks heat up of embarrassment. i keep walking and before i knew i was in Mr.Taylor's room.

i sat in the second row to the back. i pulled out my sketchbook and began to draw until class started. i was drawing, minding my own business when this guy sat next to me but i didn't bother to look.

he places his hand on my thigh and leans over.

"what are you drawing?" he whispered in my ear

i looked over and saw Asher. i ran my fingers through my hair and faced him. he leaned back and smirked.  he so sexy.

he wore a white f.r.i.e.n.d.s hoodie, black ripped jeans, black and white hightop vans, and black bracelets.

his hand was still on my thigh and i had no idea what to do about it so I just decided to ignore it. shortly after the teacher walked in.

"Good Morning, class."

"Good Morning." me and a few other students said.

Asher passes me a note without taking his eyes off the board. the note read:
