"How is she, doc?" I asked him. I personally heard so much concern in my voice when I asked that to Dr. Collins.
When I saw that she was unconscious as I continued to punish her, I almost lost my mind. I tried to wake her up a few times but she seemed sober and no longer knew what was going on around her. When she completely lost consciousness while her heart was racing like a horse, I immediately called our family doctor because I was so scared.
And that fear increased when Dr. Collins looked at me seriously and it seemed like he had bad news to tell me. I sighed violently and guided the old doctor to the door of the room. I glanced at Ava who was sound asleep for a moment before turning back to Dr. Collins.
