"All she ever wanted was love,
All she got was a broken heart."

Angelina Luciano:
The first thing I noticed when I blinked my eyes open was the colour.
White surrounded me, the bright colour seeming to surround me on all sides.
It hurt my sensitive eyes to stare at it for too long, and it had taken me a few moments to adjust to the sudden brightness.
I kept staring upwards from where I was laying, contemplating the strange place I was in.
Am I dead I wondered, unable to see anything but the brilliant white before my eyes, Is this what heaven looks like?
I seemed to have partially regained my senses as I heard the continuous beeping noise of something.
I moved my body to the source of the sound and this movement triggered sharp bursts of pain to explode in my abdomen, making my entire body shudder at the feeling.
'Nope', I thought, 'Definitely not heaven.
I moved back to the vertical position I had first woken up in.
My senses soon came rushing back to me, and I took in the surroundings, doing my best to not aggravate the now dulled thumping reverberating through my stomach.
I took in the other attributes of the plain room. This room looked very bland than anything. I then looked right beside me to see a weird looking machine, that was the source of the sound; I figured, which further had small wires protruding out of it, my eyes trailed down the wire only to find it connected to my arm. It was then a sudden realization hit me, I was in a hospital room.
Soon after I had regained a proper state of mind, I took a moment to wonder how I had gotten into this situation.
I remember bits and pieces of what had happened; The events at my old pack, The weird-looking man following me, trying to force himself on me, The other man, The pregnant she-wolf and then me being shot, Oh how badly I wished to never feel the excruciating pain of that silver bullet piercing through my skin into my stomach again.
But everything that happened afterwards was a blank, an empty void in my memory, one that I couldn't fill.
I struggled to sit up, pain exploding through my body as I ever so slightly moved.
About ten minutes and lots of struggling later I finally was able to sit up.
I sniffed the air to catch the hint of anybody close by, but was unable to do so because of my weakened senses, "Wonderful", I muttered to myself, "I'm stuck in an unknown place with senses and body weaker than a human, just wonderful." I scoffed.
I tried to talk to my wolf, who was going wild in me I might add, but received no response.
I needed some help as to what I should do, being in this unfamiliar room made mild panic rise to my chest as I frantically looked around the room searching for any possible escapes, only
I struggled to my feet, using the headboard of the bed to pull myself ungracefully upwards.
As I was nearly about to make my way forward, voices rose from right outside the room that I had woken up in.
Too far away to hear the muffled sounds which any werewolf but me could've easily heard. I began to slowly inch my way to the door, my body unstable due to the injury my stomach had sustained.
I ignored my body as it screamed it's protests, my legs wobbling and my head throbbing each time I took a step.
But I continued my journey forward, struggling with each movement.
Once I had reached the door, I leaned up against it so that I could better hear what the voices were saying.
"When is she going to wake up Abigail?", The first voice asked impatiently from behind the door.
It was deep and masculine, I couldn't help but shiver at the sound of his voice. Judging from how dominant and powerful he sounded, it sure was an alpha.
My wolf went livid, I couldn't quite figure out why.
I shook off the strange feeling that resounded in my chest when hearing the mysterious man's voice and focused my attention back on the conversation.
"She should've woken up by now, we shall wait for a day more and then I will further look into it." The other voice spoke in a comforting manner.
The man with the hypnotizing voice sighed.
I firmly decided in my head that it would be best to get out of this place as quickly as possible before I had to come face-to-face with the people outside my door.
I began backing away from the door slowly, and towards the window that lay directly on the wall on the other side of the room.
My coordination was still off from my injury and dizziness, so I managed to stumble over my feet.
I landed clumsily on the plush carpeted floor with a loud bang, falling directly onto my butt as I cursed myself for my clumsiness.
The movement jarred my whole body, sending particularly painful shock waves to my stomach due to the not-so-fresh fresh wound, causing my vision to blur momentarily because of the pain it was causing me.
The sound of my fall must have been enough to disrupt the conversation outside because the voices were quickly hushed.
I prayed that the people would not come inside the room, especially while I was in such a vulnerable state.
But it seemed as if my prayers would fall on deaf ears, because soon after I had fallen, the door handle began to turn, and the door swung wide open.
I continued to hold at my stomach, doing my best to block out the waves of pain, but to no avail.
I didn't dare look up from my curled up position on the floor, for I didn't know if I could handle the brutal amount of pain that came along with moving, as well as the fact that I wasn't brave enough to face the mysterious men outside the door, who were possibly the ones that could tell me how I ended up here.
Two pairs of footsteps moved towards me, each stomp making my wolf wilder and wilder and my heart beat faster. It was almost as if I knew something was going to happen.
The more they moved closer to me, the more my wolf went crazy, to a point where I couldn't take it anymore. 'Stop it Cree', I screamed at my wolf who was adding on to my anxiety, that was already at peak, almost making me have an anxiety attack.
But that didn't seem to bother her, as she didn't stop.
I felt one of the 2 people crouch down in front of me, her weight shifting as she faced towards me. But I still didn't move my eyes from where they were trained on the grey-carpeted floor.
"Hey", she spoke, voice soft, and kinder than I would've guessed, "I'm Doctor Abigail I know that you're probably in a lot of pain, and this situation is probably terrifying since you have no idea where you are or what's going on, But I need you to do one favour for me. Can you look up?"
I considered it for a moment. The woman didn't seem threatening, and the pain subsided mildly, at least for the moment, so that left me with my only option.
I slowly lifted my head from where it had been cradled between my hands, and brushed my curtain of ebony hair from my eyes, tucking it messily behind my ear.
I turned to face the woman that was crouched before me, Abigail but instead, my eyes focused directly on the man who towered behind him.
My eyes travelled up the length of his body and met his, two pools of blue-green coloured irises.
And for a moment I forgot how to breathe.
