“Dang…” Mori sighed in relief as he wipes the sweat on his forehead with the sleeve of his shirt. “I think this will suffice, luckily the medicine did their job.”
Lance trod towards him, handing him with a glass of water. “Good work, veterinarian.”
“Oh, Lance. Thank you.” Getting the cold glass of fresh water from his hand and chug it in one gulp. “But I was not able to save them all.”
Lance can saw the sadness on his face and he was about to comfort him when Mori smack his cheeks and almost the red imprints of his hands are visible on the porcelain skin he has.
The sound of the loud smack made the tanned-skin man slightly jumps back away from him.
“We still got a lot of work to do, Mori. Save them later.” Mori stated
