Chapter Six
The entire group drew near, their fangs exposed and gleaming in the moonlight. Alexxia couldn’t comprehend what they were after, or why they would target her like this.
“I’m one of you,” she whimpered.
Mallory’s mouth came so close to her neck she felt bloodlust coming off the stranger’s body like a heatwave.
“Please, whatever you’re doing, please stop it. I’m a vampire too.”
“Like hell you are,” somebody shouted as Mallory traced her wet tongue up Alexxia’s neck.
“Stop!” Her body shook with fear and disgust, and wouldn’t stop shaking long enough to push the vampire away. Tears streamed down her cheeks and dripped from her chin, soaking the front of her dress. “Please stop...”
