Chapter Eight Alexxia wasn’t entirely sure what woke her up. Birds? Could she hear birds chirping beyond the expansive glass windows of her sky-high flat? That was strange. But wait... this wasn’t her bed. Her bed was soft and this surface was hard. Plus, her head wasn’t resting on one of her clean fluffy pillows, it was resting on a body. Whose body? Where was she?
