Obinna's eyes narrowed as he watched Adaku leave the room. Something didn't add up. "Mother, what's going on?" he asked Chief Mrs. Okoro. "Obinna, I—" "No more lies, Mother," Obinna interrupted. "I know about Adaku's past." Chief Mrs. Okoro's expression faltered. "Who told you?" she whispered. "I figured it out," Obinna replied. "But there's more, isn't there?" Chief Mrs. Okoro hesitated before speaking. "Adaku's parents were killed by our family. She's been seeking revenge." Obinna's eyes widened. "Why did you keep this from me?" Chief Mrs. Okoro's voice cracked. "I wanted to protect you, Obinna. But I realize now that was a mistake." Just then, Adaku returned, her smile icy. "Obinna, darling. I see you know the truth." Obinna's anger boiled over. "You used me," he spat. Adaku shrugged. "I did what I had to do." Suddenly, Senator Usman appeared. "Adaku, my dear, it's time to take control." Adaku's eyes flashed with determination. "I'll destroy the Okoro empire," she vowed. But Obinna stood firm. "Not if I have anything to say about it." The room erupted into chaos. Meanwhile, Nneoma watched from the shadows. "Obinna, be careful," she whispered to herself. "Adaku's not the only one hiding secrets." As tensions escalated, Chief Mrs. Okoro revealed another shocking truth: "Obinna, you're not my biological son." Obinna reeled. "What?" Chief Mrs. Okoro's tears flowed. "I'm sorry, Obinna. I was desperate to secure our family's future." Obinna's world crumbled. Who could he trust? Adaku's smile grew. "This just got interesting." Senator Usman chuckled. "The game has just begun." Nneoma stepped forward. "I know a secret that will change everything." The room fell silent. "What is it?" Obinna asked. Nneoma's voice trembled. "Adaku's not the only one seeking revenge. There's another, hidden in plain sight." The room erupted into gasps and accusations. Who was the mysterious figure? And what did they want? The web of deceit tightened. Alliances would be tested. Secrets would be exposed. Loyalties would be questioned. In the midst of chaos, Obinna made a vow: "I'll uncover the truth, no matter the cost." The battle for the Okoro empire had begun.
