Tase looked at Ada sleeping in his bed. She was only wearing the t-shirt he gave her and the blanket didn't really cover her up. There was still enough space for him to lay next to her but Titan's words echoed in his head. He sighed and walked to the wardrobe, getting his pj's out. He walked to the bathroom and took a quick shower, then changed into his pajamas. When Tase walked out of the bathroom the light hit Adalinda's face and her eyes fluttered. They opened slowly and sparkled in the darkness with a purplish light. She yawned and the sparkle disappeared.

- Hi! Sorry for your bed. I've waited for you to come back and I must've fallen asleep. - Tase felt a desire to kiss Adalinda's sleepy face and cuddle with her till the sun rises.

- Don't worry! I'm sorry for waking you up. Just go back to sleep. - Tase said and headed towards the door. Adalinda sat up quickly.

- Where are you going? - she asked. Tase turned back to see her kneeling on his bed, barely covered by the blanket, in the fair light of the moon. She really looked like a fairy.

- I'll be sleeping on the couch. Just rest, you had a really rough day. Good night Ada!

- Wait! There is enough space in your bed. Why don't you sleep here as well?

- Could she be this innocent? - Tase asked from Titan and she chuckled.

"- Or she is maybe this tricky. It is up to you to decide.

- That won't be adequate. - Tase said and Ada got off of the bed. She grabbed a blanket and a pillow. With her head up and determination in her eyes she marched to the living room passing by the confused Tase. He followed her to see that Ada built a nest on the couch by the pillows and curled up inside covering herself with the blanket. Tase stood next to her and looked down at the comfortably curled up Adalinda.

- What are you doing? - he asked with a low chuckle. Ada opened her eyes and looked into his. As the moonlight reflected back from her eyes, they resembled of the wings of a dragonfly. Tase got distracted for a split second by the beauty witnessed.

- I'm getting ready to sleep.

- I see that, but why did you come out here?

- Because you don't want to sleep with me and I don't want to make you feel bad. I'm smaller and the couch is more fit for my size. Good night! - she said and turned away from Tase facing to the back of the couch. He felt a little sad by the way Ada turned away. He leaned down and kissed the top of her head.

- Good night Ada! - he walked back to his bedroom and before he closed the door he heard Adalinda saying.

- I'm not a child anymore. - this statement made Tase unable to sleep.

- Does she like me? - he asked and Titan rolled his eyes.

"- No s**t Sherlock! Really?

- Stop being sarcastic for a little. You said you are not sure if she is our mate. But then why do I feel this way?

" - What way?

- You know it perfectly well! Protective, possessive.

"- Probably because you are in love with her.

- But I'm a werewolf... Shouldn't we just fall for our mates?

"- You will if she appears, but there are cases when a wolf chooses a mate. So that's an option too. But a risky one.

- Why?

"- Imagine that you choose Adalinda as your mate. - Tase's heart skipped a beat at the thought.

"- Focus dude! So she is your chosen mate, but your destined mate appears. What would you do? Leave her for the one the Goddess chose for you, or stay with her rejecting the one and only mate you should have?

- This is so f****d up! - Tase growled and buried his face into his pillow. The pillow smelled like Adalinda making him want to see her face again.

"- You are hopeless man... Sleep. You'll see her in the morning. - Tase sighed and after about an hour he finally fall asleep. When he woke up next morning he smelled the scent of tea and pancakes. He got out of the bed fast and hurried to the small american kitchen his suite had. Tase saw Adalinda, with her hair tied up making a few pancakes. She didn't notice him staring at her because Adalinda was too occupied with the pancakes and singing. Her voice was soft, similar to the sounds of a violin or wind-chimes.

- Gold as the rising of the dawn

Sweet as honey touching the lovers tongue

Like they first rays of sun touches the horizon

That was once carefully hidden from the prying eyes

Rising high beyond the morn, laying shadows on the floor- Tase carefully got closer to Adalinda who kept singing in a low voice, careful, not to wake him up.

- Long is the day when the moon obscures the sun

'Tis the darkness they become, till the dawn upon the fjord - he recognized the lyrics she sang yesterday in when they found each other again. He was standing next to Adalinda who turned to face him with a smile and now in a bit higher voice she finished her song.

That I am ever bound to your amber eyes. - Tase held her face in his hand gently and she smiled at his touch.

- Why were you looking for me for so long?- he asked and Ada whispered.

- For the same reason you have been looking for me, I think. - Tase looked into those gorgeous eyes and Ada's smile almost melt his heart.

- Ada... I... - before he could've finished the sentence someone knocked on his door. Tase kept holding Ada's face in his hands but he growled towards the door.

- WHAT IS IT? - Ada chuckled and gently peeled his hands off.

- Alpha! Sorry for waking you up, but Duke Dukan is waiting for you in the conference room. - Tase sighed.

- I'll be there soon! - he looked at Ada who waited for him patiently.

- I'm afraid, that I'll have to skip this breakfast Ada. - she tilted her head and handed a little plate to Tase. There were three, fluffy blueberry pancakes towered on it and a small strawberry heart next to them.

- Eat it quickly. - she said and Tase chuckled. He stuffed the delicious pancakes into his mouth still standing. Then, he grabbed the mild tea Ada was handing to him and drank the whole. Tase hurried to his wardrobe and got dressed. Before leaving his suit he looked back. Ada was sitting at the counter, still only in the white t-shirt, that now ran up to the top of her thighs, revealing her long, slim legs. She ate her breakfast enjoying every bite of it calmly. Tase sighed, he walked to her and kissed her forehead.

- Thank you for the delicious breakfast! I'll be back soon, please stay here, okay? - She smiled at the kiss and nodded.

- Take care! - she said as Tase left his suit and Ada watched the scenery out of the window while she finished her breakfast with a bright smile.
