The next morning came all too fast and after my weird dream about Mr Hale, sleep didn’t come easily at all. That dream was too weird for my liking. Well, you did enjoy it a little bit. Ah! Why can’t it be Saturday already? I just want to lay in bed all day and watch movies.
Damn, if I keep complaining like this I’ll give myself a headache. I slowly began to dress myself in whatever decent thing I could find first as I endlessly obsess about everything that could go wrong today.

Lunch break couldn’t come faster and the day seemed to be dragging this far. It didn’t help at all that last night’s dream was the only thing playing on my mind. No matter how hard I tried, my mind always seemed to drift back to him, his lips the way he-…..
“I hope you know you’re drooling.” I hear Sarah say and I instantly snap out of my trance and begin to wipe around my mouth only to hear the laughter of not just one but all of my friends. “What?” I ask “You actually fell for it!” Sarah roars with laughter as I narrow my eyes at her “Whatever.” I roll my eyes “What’s on your mind Elly?” Sarah eyes me carefully “What? Me? No nothing at all.” My response was nervous and rushed, it clearly didn’t pass Sarah unnoticed as she begins to question me “Who? When? How hot? Where? How?” she blurts out, then takes a deep breath before continuing “Spill b***h and do not leave out any details!” I begin to blush “Sarah! There’s a time and a place for this and it’s not here or now!” I reprimanded her and she began to give me her puppy eyes, but as soon as it came it was replaced with an evil smirk and for just one moment, I actually wondered what she was thinking about. My question was soon answered when she opened her mouth and said “Okay girls, sleep over at my house tonight.” Sarah says nonchalantly, “You do realise we have a ton of assignments right?” I asked and she nods and I raised my brow questioningly at her. “Come on Ellane it’s just one night.” I finally give in and nod my head as the rest of the girls squeal in excitement.

Finally, the time has come for us to leave this s**t hole and go home. As I walked towards the exit I see Mr Hale exiting a classroom further ahead and he made his way in my direction while looking down at something on his phone. Flashbacks of last night’s dream entered my mind. s**t, what if he sees me? I need to hide because there’s no way I could get through another conversation with him without experiencing a mental breakdown. I decide to hide in the janitor’s closet and wait it out till he walks past.
The sound of someone clearing their throat reaches my ears and I quickly turn around to see a guy standing in front of a girl looking at me very awkwardly. Her hair is messy and her lipstick is smudged clearly from making out with the guy she seems to be clinging onto the guy who seemed to have lost his shirt and had his pants undone as well. Well this is awkward… “Uhm… Am I interrupting something?” I ask awkwardly, already knowing the answer, the girl scoffs and says “Do you mind!” how rude “Sorry I’ll only be a moment, I’m trying to avoid someone.” I say and she rolls her eyes “I don’t care if you’re avoiding the devil himself i***t, just get out and avoid people somewhere else!” the air head yells at me as she opens the door and shoves me into the hallway right into the devil himself. Mr Hale clears his throat and turns towards the now shut janitor’s closet and bangs on the door “Guys break it up in there, I could literally smell the s*x from down the hall!” he yells at the couple. The door opens as they slowly exit the small room with their heads bowed in shame.
I turn to face him “That must have been awkward in there with them?” he says and I slowly nod my head “If I didn’t know any better I’d say you were trying to avoid me Laney.” He says “That’s not what I was trying to do Mr Hale, I was just…” I tried to think of an excuse “Looking for a hiding space?” he asks “Yes.” He smirks “Wait, no!” I mentally face palm myself as he began to chuckle. I feel a hand lift my chin as my eyes meet with his “Why would you avoid me Laney?” he asked, and for a split second I had forgotten all the reasons why I should avoid him at all costs “Mr Hale.” It was a mere whisper, but he heard it. “Why so formal Laney? You know my first name.” he said as a smile made its way to his lips “Call me Nash.” He whispered then winked as he turned around. I watched his back as he took long strides as he walked away.
Tap. Tap. Tap…
I knew I needed to stay away from that man, I needed too. He was addictive and dangerous. He was trouble waiting to happen, I can feel it. This man was glorious yet toxic and I… I was drawn to him.
