A week has gone by and nothing exciting has happened, there’s only been a lingering whisper of a new arrival. So far, the i haven't seen anyone new.
As Sarah and I drive around the school parking in search of a parking spot, I couldn’t help but let my mind drift to our first year at this place. “There!” Sarah screams out pointing her finger in the direction of an empty parking space. Just as I’m about to claim the empty space, someone speeds right past me and claims it. “f*****g douche!” I yell as the engine of the car turns off. “Are you f*****g kidding me right now?!” I yell out, utterly exasperated. Just then the door of that thief’s car swings open, and out steps this Greek God of a man. I watch intently as his 6”7 tall figure stands next to his car straightening out his crisp white shirt. He turns around and begins to straighten out his black tie and I am immediately captivated by his ocean blue eyes. “Well, at least he’s a handsome douche.” I say, he then makes eye contact with me, almost as if he had heard every word I said.
I turn to Sarah only to see her utterly shocked as her mouth hangs open. I reached over to her and closed her mouth, “Sarah, I know he’s hot but there’s no need to drool.” This caught her attention and her cheeks began to turn crimson red. I turn back to hot stuff as he shuts his car door and shoots me a devilishly handsome smirk as he turns around and shoves his hands into his pockets, gracefully making his way towards the entrance of the school.
“Well, I guess we got to find another spot.” I say with a shrug and Sarah replies with a small nod.
We finally found a nice spot to park after ten long minutes of searching. Sarah and I decided to head to the cafeteria before my class started so we could meet up with the rest of our group.
“Sarah, Elly! How nice of you to finally join us.” Our friend Jessy says. “Sorry, we had to search for a parking space after some handsome i***t stole ours.” I say, raising my hands in defence. “Handsome, you say?” she questions arching her right eyebrow, “On a scale of one to ten, how hot is he?” she asks “He’s, how do I put this? Hot enough to melt the scale.” I say with a smirk and Jessy’s eyes bulge out of her sockets as she begins to fan herself.
“Okay girls! Enough boy talk!” Zain scolds while pretending to gag, “Aw honey, don’t be jealous.” Jessy says lovingly to her boyfriend as she pecks the tip of his nose. We all burst into a fit of laughter at Zain as he begins to blush at his girlfriend's actions. Then something out of the corner of my eye caught my attention, a girl with long waist-length locks of wavy jet-black hair, stood at the entrance of the cafeteria. She must be the new arrival everyone had been going on about. At this thought I decided to walk over to her. As I near her I realised she had been looking down, staring at nothing in particular. “Hey,” I said and she slowly looked at me as a surprised expression covered her face, “Me?” she asked pointing to herself, “Yes you” I said with a giggle “Are you new here?” I ask, okay I admit it was a dumb question, she smiles “Yes, I’m new here.” She says smiling. “Oh I’m Ellane by the way, but my friends call me Elly.” I say politely sticking out my hand, she shakes my hand and introduces herself "My name is Rex, sorry my palms are a little sweaty. I'm just a nervous wreck today." she giggles nervously as she whipes her palms on her dress.
