Chapter Two

504 Words
Penelope Petrov POV I obviously was not going to look flustered in front of this guy. However I will not lie he was beautiful. I also felt like I was making him nervous because I have most likely been staring at him for 5 minutes without saying anything. "Uhhhhh Welcome to Starbucks can I take your order?" His voice was as smooth as velvet and I swear I thought he was massaging me with his voice. "Yes. I want a black coffee no sugar and just a tad bit of milk." I was not going to look interested just because he was cute. I saw this kid cringe so hard I thought his neck snapped. As cute as I thought he was this guy was taking way too long to get to working. "Are you going to get started or stare at me?" I thought it was nice to see him so flustered and I did not mean for that to come out as cold but I wanted my coffee. "I'm sorry I will get started right now!" He ran to get started and the same employee who told him to take her place was there scolding him for making me wait. She was probably scolding him because he could get fired. At least that is what everyone thinks, if I were to fire this guy it would only be to rehire him as a personal assistant that I don't even need. He was that good looking. "Here's your coffee have a nice day!" I think the female employee told him about me because he looked really nervous giving me my drink. However now I think that being nervous and skittish is his thing. "Are you alright?" I had to raise my eyebrow to add something dramatic. This guy looked ready to pass out. "Yes I am fine thank you for asking." He was now officially red in the face and I was convinced that he was going to pass out. "Well thanks for coffee kid." I saw a flash of annoyance take over his face and I automatically smirked. I left Starbucks drinking my smoldering hot coffee that might have burned my tongue off but I can never get enough of coffee. I also need to find out who that guy was from Starbucks because he has peaked my interests. I realized during the small walk from Starbucks to my car that I was indeed interested in him and once something grabs my attention it will be hard to avert it elsewhere. I got home and got teased a little by Ken because of my coffee obsession and got right down to work on this over piling paperwork. However I had a slight problem with these specific set of documents. Something was most definitely not right and thank glob that I had coffee because if I did not I would look this over and not realize its importance. "Ken! We have a problem! Looks like we have to pay Mr. Rossi a visit."
