We got to the Alphas house as soon as we could. Everyone is gathered but clueless.
The murmurs and mumbling of rankless men and women alike floats, hanging heavy in the air.
As Nadia and I make way through the teeming crowd, we finally see Vance, still alive, and Talia kneeling by his side.
What the f**k could have gone wrong?
