"Are you mad?!" It's the first time I question Landon's sanity. "What an absurd idea! The f**k is wrong with you?" I can't freaking wrap my head around it.
"Don't you want something better than this? Something than being fated to a second in command? To a Beta?" He is looking dead in my eyes. I somehow want confirmation that this is just an expensive joke, a prank, just something not reality.
