"What's up?" He asked. "Why are you alone in the dark?" I know how Landon sounds when he just did something wrong, I wouldn't call it 'the nerves' but he definitely seems over caring in a way, making the victim question whether they are really a victim, or just overreacting.
I don't really realize how I let time slip by and not reply to him.
"Why are you not saying anything?" He asked me, after I let his second question go unanswered again.
"I didn't hear what you said." I don't know where the courage came from, but I want to make him repeat himself. Just maybe on the second try, he'll be able to reason, reason himself to shame and think about how I actually would be feeling.
