I screamed louder. Something was happening inside me. Something unnatural. I crawled out of the bathroom on my elbows, half-n@ked, shivering, crying. This wasn’t a dream anymore. This wasn’t stress. This was real. Something was eating me al!ve from the inside. --- I lay on the floor, shaking, staring at the bathroom door like a grave entrance. Suddenly, I heard footsteps. Paul. He stood in the hallway, staring at me. I expected him to rush over, hold me, ask me what happened. Instead, he stood still… watching. No fear. No shock. Just a calm stare. Like he already knew. Like he had been waiting for this to happen. I tried to speak but my voice cracked. Têars rolled down my cheeks as I whispered: “What… have you done to meI screamed louder. Beware!!?” _ EPISODE 6 WRITTEN BY Adeola --- “What have you done to me…?” My voice barely came out, shaking with fēar… with pãin. Paul stood over me like a stranger—like someone I never knew. He finally stepped forward. Bent down slowly. And said in a calm, almost sweet voice: “Janet… I warned you not to question me.” My heart stopped. “So it’s true?” I gasped. “You’re the one behind this?” He tilted his head and smiled. “You were dying anyway. I only borrowed your body… for something greater.” I tried to move, but my limbs felt heavy. My mouth turned dry. My bl0d… cold. Borrowed my body? For what?? He stood up again, pacing. “Do you remember the day I helped you with your pad for the first time?” I nodded slowly, trembling. “That was the covenant,” he said. “Every time I touched your blood, I sealed a layer of control. Every time you allowed me, you gave up more of yourself.” My hands went to my stomach. The memory of the blēēding… the worms… the hospital… “What do you want from me?” I asked in a whisper. He turned sharply. “Your womb.” “That’s all I ever needed.” --- The room began to spin. I tried to stand but collapsed back down. My womb?? Was that why the doctor said if it continued, I might never have children? Was he slowly destroying me from inside? --- I started crawling toward the door. Dragging myself with everything I had left. Jude watched me with cold amusement. “Don’t waste your strength. The more you resist, the faster it spreads.” “Please… I beg you…” I crìed. But he just walked out. And locked the door behind him. --- That night, I couldn’t sleep. My phone had no signal. The windows were bolted. And my body… felt like it was burning from inside out. At 2:36 a.m., I woke up gasping. Something was moving in my stomach. Moving. Alive. Kicking. I screamed so hard I thought my lungs would explode. --- Then I heard a sound— A knock. Not from the door. From inside the wardrobe. Slow… soft… steady… Knock. Knock. Knock. I stared, unable to move. Then it came again. Knock. Knock. Knock. I gathered my last strength… pulled myself up… and opened the wardrobe. Inside was a small wooden box. Tied with a red cloth, sealed with black thread. I reached for it— The moment I touched it… A sharp pain pierced through my belly, and I collapsed. --- Are you feeling sorry for Janet? Written by Adeola ✍️ ______________ I collapsed in front of the wardrobe, my body trembling like it had no bones left. My palms were bleeding from scratching the tiles. That box… the one wrapped in red cloth with black thread—it was calling me. I don’t know how to explain it, but I felt like something was whispering into my ears, saying, “Open it… look inside, Janet… you deserve to know.” I crawled forward, each movement painful, like my womb was ripping apart. I reached out, untied the black thread with shaky fingers. The red cloth fell away, and for a moment… I froze. There was a scent. Not perfume. Not herbs. But something rotten… something ancient. I opened the wooden box,and immediately, my mouth went dry. Inside was a ball of black hair—my hair, tied tightly with something like dried umbilical cord. Beneath it, my stained pads, folded neatly in plastic. And just beneath that… A tiny bottle, sealed with wax—filled with thick, dark blood. My blood. I choked on my own breath. I couldn’t scream. Couldn’t cry. Just shook violently. What kind of man collects this? Who sleeps beside someone, kisses her, gifts her gold bracelets—and still gathers her blood like a souvenir? I pushed the box away and rushed to the sink, vomiting nonstop. The taste of bl00d… worms… betrayal. Then I felt it. A presence. I turned slowly. Paul was standing behind me. His face didn’t look human anymore. His skin was darker, tighter—like it was stretched over something too big for it. His lips didn’t move, but I heard him clearly: “You saw it. That means you belong to me forever.” I tried to run, but my legs failed. He didn’t chase me. He just said: “The maggots were only the beginning. Soon, you won’t bleed at all. You’ll rot… from inside out.” My soul shattered. Right there… I knew— paul wasn’t a boyfriend. He was a collector. Of bl00d. Of spirits. Of destinies. And I had become his project. EPISODE 8 Written by Adeola ✍️ ________________ I stayed locked in the room till morning. Sleep didn’t come. Only fear. Only the haunting memory of Paul's voice saying: “Soon, you won’t bled at all. You’ll rot from inside out.” I stared at the bracelet he gave me… lying cold on the floor. It was supposed to be love. It was supposed to be a gift. But now… it felt like a trap. --- My phone vibrated. It was Blessing. I picked. My voice cracked: “Blessing… please. Come.” Ten minutes later, she was at Paul's s gate. I sneaked out and met her down the street. The moment she saw me, her face changed. “Janet… what’s wrong with your eyes? You look… drained.” I didn’t answer. I couldn’t. We got to her hostel and locked the door. I collapsed on her bed and told her everything. The pads. The bl00d. The maggots. The box. The rituals. She stood there, mouth wide open. “You mean he’s been collecting your peri0d stuff? For what?! For ritual??” I nodded slowly. “But Paul’s just a yahoo boy,” I added weakly. “Not just yahoo,” she replied. “Some of these boys do spiritual backup to maintain their money flow. That’s why they don’t date broke girls—they need ‘standard bl0d.’” Her words hit me hard. I remembered everything… The timing. The bl0d collections. The strange bathing. The bracelet. It was never about love. It was about what he was gaining from me. --- That night, we tried to pray. But I couldn’t even open my mouth. I kept vomiting dark liquid. My eyes were heavy. And my body felt like it wasn’t mine anymore. Then something terrifying happened. At exactly 3:00 a.m., my phone came on by itself. One message. From Paul. “I warned you not to run.” --- I scrêamed. Blessing grabbed my phone and switched it off. We turned off the lights and hid under the blanket like scared children. We didn’t sleep again. By morning, Blessing said something that made my bl0d freeze: “I think Paul’s doing bl0d money. And you… you’re his source.” Just then I felt the urge to throw, and before I could rush to the bathroom.. I started v0miting white worms mixed with saliva. Fēar grips me as the v0mit hit the floor, the worm began moving in their numbers. “Oh! My God! Janet! This is really serious I think I should take you to the hospital.” Blessing screamed in panic. “Call my mu.....” Before i could complete my word I fainted
