Once we were all finished, Isaac and I cleared the table.
“Clem?” He says as I rinse the dishes and he puts them in the dishwasher.
“Yes?” I say, turning to face him as I dry my hands.
“Are you really ok with what we are?” He asks nervously.
“Yes. I don’t care what you are, Isaac. What I care about is how you treat me. And you all treat me like family. Apart from you.” I grin as I wrap my arms around his neck.
He wraps his arms around my waist and smiles down at me.
“I don’t ever want you to be afraid of me. I would never hurt you. You know that, right?” He asks.
“Of course I do. Do you think I would be hugging you right now if I thought you would hurt me in any way?” I ask him.
“I guess not.” He chuckles.
I lean up and kiss him lightly.
“I understand why you couldn’t tell me as soon as I got here. You needed to know if you could trust me with your secret. And that’s ok. I know you didn’t really tell me, I kinda walked in on you talking about it, but I know now. And I’m not scared of you.” I pause as I lean into his ear. “It kinda makes you even hotter,” I whisper before pulling away as I bite my lip.
“Mmm.” He moans as he watches my lips.
He kisses me passionately, and I lightly grip his hair as he grips my waist tightly.
“No hanky panky in the kitchen!” Dante shouts, and everyone laughs.
We pull back, and Isaac growls loudly, which surprises me.
“I’m sorry.” He whispers to me.
“I’m gonna knock him on his ass.” I declare.
“This is gonna be fun to watch,” Isaac smirks as he takes my hand, and we walk back to the dining room.
When we walk to our seats, I notice Dante in the corner pouring himself a drink. I smirk at Isaac as we sit down, and he chuckles silently. I wait for Dante to come back to his seat. Just as he goes to pull his chair in to sit down, I use my telekinesis to move the chair away from the table, causing him to fall on his ass.
Everyone bursts into laughter as Dante stares at Dom.
“What?!” Dom shouts as Dante stands up inhumanly fast.
“You moved my chair!” He shouts.
“I did not!” Dom shouts back, and I just giggle my ass off.
“What are you laughing at?” Dante asks harshly.
“Ok, I’m assuming Dom is telekinetic?” I ask, smiling.
“Yeah, I am.” Dom smiles.
“Cool. Me too.” I smirk.
“What?” Dante whispers.
“That wasn’t Dom. It was me.” I laugh.
“YOU moved my chair?” He says in shock and awe.
“Yep!” I laugh, and everyone else joins in.
“So you’re telekinetic as well as a siphon?” Kat asks.
“And a few more.” I smile.
“What do you mean?” Andrew asks.
“Well, a few years ago, my parents had an accident in their lab. They were scientists. I was in the lab when it happened, and when I woke up a couple weeks later, I had all these abilities that I had to learn to control. It took me a while to learn control, but I got the hang of it.” I tell them as Dante grabs his chair and sits down.
“What kind of abilities?” Dom asks.
“Telekinesis, telepathy, empathy, foresight and invisibility.” I list the powers I had discovered.
“Invisibility?!” Ian and Zac shout in shock.
I stand up and make myself invisible before walking behind them.
“Woah! Where’d you go?” Benji exclaims.
“I’m behind the twins,” I say, chuckling.
The twins spin around looking for me but hello! I’m invisible; they can’t see me.
“I’m invisible guys, you can’t see me.” I chuckle as I walk back to my seat.
I kiss Isaac’s cheek before I sit back down and make myself visible again.
“That’s incredible,” Kat says, smiling.
“Thank you. But I’m not the only special one here, am I? Do you all have powers as well?” I ask.
“We do. I’m an empath.” Kat smiles.
“I have foresight,” Andrew says.
“I have both of those,” Isaac says as he takes my hand.
“Wow,” I whisper as I smile at him.
“I can heal others.” Benji smiles.
“I’m like mum, empath,” Enzo says as he sips his drink.
“We’re telepathic.” Ian and Zac say together.
“Now I know how you always talk at the exact same time.” I chuckle.
“What about you, Dante?” I ask, sipping my water.
“I can control minds.” He says proudly.
“Don’t ever try to control me. I will knock you out.” I state, making everyone laugh.
“You have my word.” He smiles as I chuckle.
We all talked for another hour before Brent left.
“Clem?” Kat says.
“Yes?”
“I know we’ve asked this already but, are you sure you’re ok with us?” She asks worriedly.
I shake my head and hug her tightly.
“I’m sure. Let me put it this way. I would bet my life on it, that I am sure I’m ok with what you all are. Just because you aren’t human does not mean you don’t care about me. And it’s not going to stop me from caring about you. Any of you.” I say, smiling as I pull away and hug Isaac.
“Thank you, baby,” Isaac whispers to me.
“I’m tired. I’m gonna head to bed. Good night.” I say before kissing Isaac’s cheek.
“Could I take you to bed?” Isaac asks in a whisper.
“Sure.” I smile at him.
Isaac picks me up and smiles at me. “Close your eyes.”
I close my eyes and lean my head on his chest. Before I know it, Isaac is setting me down.
“Woah, how did we get to my room so fast?” I ask, shocked.
“Vampire.” He smirks.
I chuckle, “Right, enhanced speed. Cheater.”
Isaac chuckles and caresses my cheek with his hand.
“You are so beautiful. I will never be able to thank you enough for agreeing to be my girlfriend and then accepting me as I am tonight. You’ve made me the happiest vampire in the world.” He says lovingly.
“Isaac?” I whisper.
“Yes, baby?”
“I love you,” I whisper as I look up at him.
He stares at me in shock.
“Please say something,” I whisper as I look down.
Isaac holds my face with both hands and kisses me passionately.
“I love you too, Clementine Phoenix.” He whispers in between kisses.
I grip his shirt as I kiss him back with desire.
“Stay with me tonight?” I ask as I pull back for a much-needed breath.
“I will stay with you whenever you want me to.” He whispers.
“I just need to change. Do you wanna change into something more comfortable?” I ask.
“I probably should, yeah.” He says, looking down at the jeans he’s wearing. “I’ll be back in a second.” He says and disappears.
I chuckle at him and walk into my closet. I take off my jacket and hang it up. I put my singlet and skinny jeans into the hamper and pull on a fresh pair of red booty shorts and a matching red singlet. I pull on my red bed socks and walk back into my room to see Isaac waiting.
“Ready for bed- oh,” Isaac says as his eyes go slightly red.
“Are you ok? What happened to your eyes?” I ask as I put my hand on his cheek.
“Um, it’s nothing. I guess I haven’t had enough blood, your- you look-“
“Delicious?” I smirk.
“Are you trying to tease me?” He groans.
“I’m not trying to, no. It’s what I wear to bed every night. It’s comfortable.” I shrug as I climb into bed.
“Ok,” Isaac says, breathing out sharply.
“Isaac, I trust you, ok,” I whisper as he hesitantly lays beside me.
“Thank you.” He smiles as I lay on his chest.
“Good night,” I whispered tiredly.
“Good night, baby.” He says as he plays with my hair.
“I, love, you,” I say as I fall asleep.
