"Come in" I was shocked yet I got inside. The dining hall was decorated with balloons and cakes. There were pastries and cupcakes on the sideway table, a bunch of wrapped up gifts under the same and another bunch of chocolates thrown around it like some kids were in a hurry to chose which and finally ended up having none. The lights played with its disco wavelengths whilst the moonlight outside guarded the yellow shining chandelier that hung. My eyes widened. On top of the table hung the banner, sparkled in glitters and large italics, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNA" I forgot. Utterly and most devastatingly. It was my birthday. My eyes ran to the man in the most normal clothes; casual wear of shorts and shirt like how I liked on him, smiling with a cap on and a birthday hat between his fingers.
