Lilah My grandfather’s funeral was a huge affair, mainly because we had so many family members. A lot traveled from Ireland to be there for my mother and her siblings. A lot of people spoke about my grandfather and how special he was. He was definitely that to me. I sat next to my brother with little Brooke on my lap. Kiera sat next to my father, rolling her eyes and sighing. In the end, I watched Dad grab Kiera’s wrist and whisper something in her ear. She folded her arms across her chest and gritted her teeth.
