HELP FROM THE HERDSMEN
However as the young.man continued his adventurous journey, he.noticed that as soon as things may seem to go better withing a short time danger pops up again. This time he was about to move to another community around the lake Chad basin. After he had made another arrangement to move to the next community, he arrived where he was to enter a canoe to proceed. The transporter accepted to carry him and others from that island to the next but complained that his boat was not good enough so he can't take too many passengers at a time to avoid accident. He carried someone and Prince will was asked to stay behind for the second round. He went and left Prince will waiting and waiting for a very long time until it started getting dark. After realizing that the boat transporter has abandoned him, he whispered in fear to himself. "My end has come. What do I do ? Can I find anyone to help?". He started shouting "Help!! Help!! Help!!" When he came to understand that the people do not understand English he started shouting "Oh. Oh. Oh!". so that if there is anyone around to rescue him. Despite all his efforts, no one was available to help. Then these thoughts filtered in his mind "So I will sleep in this bush alone and probably die here since I have moved round and there is no one to help. Is there still hope for me?" he questioned .This was one of the most dreaded.moment in his life and adventure. He prayed silently.believing God for a miraculous deliverance. As he kept moving and shouting for help, he saw a satanic fire, capable of roasting a cow in five minutes, about five hundred metres away with thick smoke spiralling in the air, he started moving towards the fire, not. minding what might.happen. to him. On reaching there he heard some people talking and found out that they were Fulani herdsmen who set fir to scare away wild animals and to protect their cattle. He explained his situation to them and they provided food for him to eat even though it was not the type he likes. They really showed him lobe and gave him a place to sleep. The next day, they helped him and put him in another boat to his next destination. With all this, he told God that he wouldn't like any of his siblings to be in the.condition.in which he found.himself. He said to himself "I have decided to offer my self as the sacrificial lamb of the family so I will take whatever I see"
