HIM?

I wake up as usual and do my morning routine. I came out of my room and headed to the hallway. I stopped in my tracks when I heard Jenny's voice.

'Is she home'? I neared her room door and heard her screaming and yelling. I knocked on her room door, no response. I knocked again and the door opened revealing Jenny.

Me: Hey 

Jenny: Hi, a minute, please.

She closed and reopened the door.

Jenny: So how was your day? Was everything fine?

Me: Yeah no problem. All was fine. How was yours? Look like kinda busy. 

Jenny: Yeah just a little busy. And today I'm going abroad. You can stay here and keep the keys safe okay? 

Me: Sure

(Horn sound)

Jenny: I think that's my cab. Gotta go, take care. Bye.

We hugged each other. We both got out of the house and I closed the door. Bid Jenny goodbye and made my way to the shop. I checked the time and I still had time. I went to the coffee shop near the shop.

I ordered the coffee and searched for a place to sit. There was an empty seat. 'There we go '. I took my seat and waited for my coffee. Soon the coffee arrived and I glanced at it, noticing it wasn't the coffee that I ordered. I looked up at the waiter and said "this is not what I ordered". He looked confused and a voice behind him spoke.

??: That's mine. Thank you. 

He smiled warmly. He made his way to me and my coffee arrived. I was about to walk out and he spoke again

??: I wouldn't mind it. You can sit here. 

I gave up and sit beside him. While sipping my coffee I was overwhelmed by my thoughts.

?: So how have you been? Is everything fine here?

I flinched as he asked out of sudden as he placed his hand on mine. 

Me: Excuse me? 

I pulled out my hand and he seems noticed that I'm not feeling comfortable with him.

??: Don't have to be nervous. You don't remember me? I'm the one that blocked you yesterday. I saw you working at Clara's shop. 

Me: So what? 

I stared at him with no emotions.

??: Ahem... Nothing, the last time I met her she told me about you. So I thought we can get along. 

Me: No thanks. I'm pretty good with this now. Your name?

??: Christopher. Nice to meet you, Anna.

His hand reached out for a handshake. I furrowed my brows and asked him

Me: How do you know my name?

Christopher: Remember Clara told me about you.

I made an o and thought a while whether shook his hand or not. But then I give in ended you shooking his and had a little talk. There was this. His eyes telling me something when his lips telling me something so different. His sparkling blue eyes and I just couldn't get my eyes off his eyes. After we were done drinking and chatting for a while I realized I'm late to shop. I bid goodbye to him and walked out of the cafe. As I stepped on the roads a handhold my wrist and made a stop. I turned and Christopher was there.

Me: Yes?

Christopher: There will be a fair this Sunday on the third street. Would you mind joining me? 

Me: I'll let you know if I'm okay means. 

I turned around and he spoke again. 

Christopher: How will you tell me by sending a letter through a bird? 

He laughed at his own joke. 'Seriously, it's not funny tho' 

Me: Come to the shop Saturday and I'll tell you okay.

I closed the shop and head home. On my way back home I saw the road was blocked and crowded. I saw a police officer and walk towards him.

"Excuse me, sir, why this place is so crowded? Anything happened?" I asked politely. 

"Someone murdered him. This road has been blocked please take a diversion." He replied and I moved out of the place.

Afraid of I will get lost so I opened Google maps for direction. After a while, my phone shut itself down. "Great!" I murmured to myself and surprised as I ended up in an alley. "Very great!" The alley was completely dark not even a single track of light.

Suddenly I heard footsteps from both sides. I was confused and scared at the same time. I found a place to hide and stayed quiet.

As they reached the center of the alley the lights had been turned on. The group on my right were just three persons while on left they were nearly six persons. "Are they crazy or what. Three...six..no conscience at all" I thought to myself.

The right team started the talk first. ........"why am I not hearing anything". I thought again. Then, the two more people came and stand in mid of the left team. One had been tied and the other was holding him. He was bruised all over his body. I pulled myself in as they looked around them. Then a loud bang.

As soon as I heard the sound, without realizing I ran out from the hideout. I stopped in my tracks as someone blocked me. I looked up and froze.

"Hey, baby girl!? When did you come back!??" He spoke happily as I stood there saying nothing. "I didn't know you're here? I wouldn't have come to Paris if I knew before" I spoke and glared at him. I turned around to take the way out but two men blocked me. I turned around again and found him standing close to me. He leans in and whispered "you're not going anywhere unless I'm bringing you" a smirk grew on his face as he stepped back. "Not today jerk". I kicked him at his balls and take the way out from where I came.

I ran fastest as I can while millions of things flashed in my mind. As I was running fast, I bumped into someone's shoulder, really hard until we both fell on our knees. I turned around while panting hard "I'm so sorry, I'm really sorry. Are you okay?" He looked up and.........
