Chapter Four ( The Realm )

I felt the sunlight reach my face and I opened my eyes and looked at my surroundings. First day in this place, waking up without worries. I don’t know I feel so safe again. Like I feel I got reborn. I just stand up and fix my bed until I hear a knock on my door. “Ariah are you awake? “its Jarek .

“Yes im awake will be out in a minutes,”I said and go to my bathroom and took a bath just a few minutes later I go into my walk in closets and get a light blue long dress there.

"So pretty" I said and faced my life-sized mirror there after Im done wearing it i go to my vanity table and fix my hair this is the first time i care this much on my appearance. I felt like this is all a dream seeing how my face so different.

I go out to my room and saw Jarek sitting there making a breakfast.

"Eat first before we go to school" he said I just smile and sat on the chair and eat my breakfast. I looked at the foods there its all the normal food.

“Don’t be confused we have those food when we come here I packed it at the back of the van”he said and smile.

“Do you have telekinetic power?”i asked then he started to laugh. He shook his head. “Its just so obvious when you looked on the food”he said and sip his tea.

I just finished eating and prepare my bag.

“Your not using that here get this”he give me a brown bag I think this was made on some dried leaves.

“If you don’t wanna be different be one of them”He said and smile before he left the house. I just transfer my stuff to the bag that he give me and sighed.

He have a point.

We enter a small hall there is a big circle on the floor there is like different language there that i cannot understand, Then Jarek just say some words and our surroundings was covered a yellow light. I closed my eyes because I felt like my body was floating.

“Were here”He said I opened my eyes and my whole system is on dazed the place is like heaven all corner is on white there is even a big arc and a long bridge.

“Just curious below of this bridge is what?”i asked he trying to not laugh because of my stupid questions. “I don’t know no one knows do you wanna see?” he said I immediately nod.

He was about to push me when I felt the danger and suddenly I lost control on my body and now I was floating!

“Oh my god!!”i shouted all people there is looking at me how am I gonna go down?

“Help me! I can’t go down”he said he started to laugh again and and later on I saw him floating and pull my arm “Think that you wanna go down”he said so I think that and keep thinking but its not working!

“Not working!”i shouted I really started to get panicked but this cousin of mine is just enjoying what happening to me.

“Your panicking that’s why its not working tray it again”he said

“Why don’t you just grab me and put me down”i hissed.

“I can’t your floating your the only one can control that”he said then I tried again. I compose my self and breath out and try to think again. I feel some energy flowing in my whole body.

“Open your eyes your already at the ground”Jarek said and I opened my eyes again. I was so scared

“See you can do it” he said and chuckled I look at him and rolled my eyes. Worthless cousin.

Those people I mean fairies looking at me this might be the opposite they might questioning why I don’t how to control my magic. While in Human realm if they saw me flying or floating they will think im a witch for sure.

I just erased all my thoughts and start to walk again this cousin of mine is really talkative I also notice a lots of girls fairies looking at him and looking thrilled by watching him but when their eyes went on me they having mix emotion like I do not understand for real because its really mixed.

“You should behave and remain quiet once we enter the hall” he said and smile at me.

We enter another big hall and the ceiling is too high where I really cannot see it.

I saw a lot of students sitting on the floor there is a small table there and on top of that there is pen and notebook. The pillow on the floor will serve as your chair. Its like a Japanese style furniture I think?

A lot of students looking at me like its the first time they saw me here which is its really the first time. I saw Jarek sit on the front wait why im at the back while him is in the front? Traitor!

Later on there is a guy who enter the hall his aura is so respectful. I saw everyone there that noisy earlier now become quiet is her strict?

“Good morning fellow students today we have a new student that will join us through out the whole years”the guy said so he is the teacher. I saw him looking at me and signal to come on the front. So I just follow him and walk I can feel their eyes focusing on me.

“Introduce your self”the teacher said

“Hi im Ariah Taneisha” I said and look at them they were still waiting on my next word but that’s all I can say. I look at the teacher and smile. “Thank you Ariah” he said then everyone there clap their hands.

“What is your origin Ariah?” one of the guy student ask. My origin? How can I answer a question that even me I do not know.

“Ariah is my cousin she come from Human Realm”its Jarek who speak so all attention divert to him.

“Is she a human?” the other girl asks.

“Miriam if she’s a human you think she can enter the realm?” its the teacher now who said that. He making sense.

“Ariah is the daughter of Goddess Thalia” the teacher said so everyone there started to speak to each other again about what they found out today.

“They said Goddess Thalia conceal the true appearance of her daughter so it means that appearance of her right now is fake?”another girl asks so I looked at her I can sense that she’s full of arrogance. Same aura of those people in Florida.

I didn’t answer her questions and just smile at her then I go back to my seat. I can still feel her sharp eyes. The class is soon to be over when the students on that hall begin to become noisy again.

“God Titus! What can I do for you?”its the teacher who’s suddenly smiling so widely.

Then a handsome guy enter the hall I can sense the aura is so strong like you gonna have the urge to bow down on this man and worship him.

“I just wanna make an announcement ”That guy Titus said. I just look down and fiddle my finger again.

“Tomorrow is our annual assembly where we will need to choose the students who have the traits and chance to fight the Demon Lord”he said it suddenly piqued my interest I heard the word Demon Lord, the reason why I got sealed and suffer in my whole childhood.

“We will prepare for that and thank you for gracing us with your appearance in our small leaning hall”the teacher said so I look on my surrounding again is this a small hall for him??

This is what I saw on some dramas! Wait is this guy is someone powerful? Or is he a king? But the teacher said earlier that he is a God right?

They said something but they just whisper to each other. And then this God Titus will about to leave the hall together with two guy at his back maybe it his assistance.

All students there stand up and bow their head.

“Thank you for gracing us God Titus” everyone said that of course except me who’s clueless on what happening I saw that all of them just remain on bowing their head while mine? Im look at this God Titus directly.

Shit.

I immediately bow my head too and look at the ground. Im doomed.

This God Titus just looked at me before he really left the hall and everyone there was back to their original position before that God appear here.

“God Titus appearance is like a blessing we rarely see him because he is so busy on preparing for the war”one girl students said.

“Maybe he come here to see Ivy here” other girls said and then the previous girl who asked me speak up the one who looking at me so cold earlier.

“Hey stop spreading that kind of news”she said you can sense how she likes to be connect on that God. Tsk typical two faced .

“You know that your on the list of the fairies who can become his bride”other girls said and they started to say stuffs. I don’t know since I came here I really can sense an aura if they telling the truth or they just lying.

I looked at them once more before I left that hall.

They are full of two face Fairies..

“Ariah!” its Jarek who enter the house. He’s catching his breath holding a bunch of books.

“What?”i asked he give me the books and look at me so serious.

“You will need to read this books for tomorrow”he said so I give him a “For what” look good thing he understand it immediately. “Please read all this books you will need this for the test tomorrow”he said.

“Test what?”i asked then he sit on the couch and wiping his sweat he have a power why don’t he just use it instead on carry it those books look so heavy.

“Yes there is a test coming up for all the beginners aside from the hall where you learning there’s still a lot of students in the realm and they learning in different place. All of them will also go the assembly including those who’s new and in able to advance you will need to learn some basic chant to see what your magic capacity”he said im a little bit confused but I think I get what he trying to explain.

“So that test tomorrow is like an aptitude test to see my natural ability?”i asked I saw the twinkling on his eyes its cute at the same time weird. “Yes you got it right! Aunt is really correct your a smart one and can understand easily”he said and smile.

“Okay fine ill do it” I said and get all the books there and bring to my room.

Well its really heavy but if this book is full of spells then maybe I can learn a lot besides I love to read.

I don’t know what’s the sense of doing all this. But one thing I know my mom will not gonna send me here for nothing. After learning that I was sealed because of that Demon Lord and my dad fight with him before is important information for me. Who knows through out this path I will find out something.

I don’t know how many hours passes already I feeling so sleepy already.

This books is amazing I know they are in different language but I manage to read them and those spell written here is a little bit hard and some of it is I don’t understand.

Jarek said I just need to read this I will just go with the flow tomorrow on what ever test it is.
