Emma's POV
The question caught me by surprise. Logan? I’d never thought about it after that brief encounter at the villa. To me, it was nothing more than a chance business meeting. But Scarlett seemed to see it differently.
“Scarlett, I haven’t even thought that far,” I said, trying to stay calm. “Besides, why would he be interested in me? I have a child without a husband. A guy like Logan would be looking for someone simpler, without the burdens I have.”
Scarlett shook her head slowly. “Don’t underestimate yourself, Emma. I know you might feel like your life is full of challenges, but Logan probably sees something different in you. You’re a strong, independent woman who takes care of four kids wonderfully. That’s not something to be underestimated.”
