James’s POV Now I am already neat with my shirt. Today is indeed a holiday, and I also planned to go on a date with Thea. What's wrong with me looking for a new atmosphere? I've been looking at my cell phone that rang several times, yes, it was Thea. I just glanced briefly, then returned to focus on the activity of buttoning my shirt. Indeed, Thea has been sending a lot of messages and calling since earlier. I feel very embarrassed because the woman doesn't seem to give me time to enjoy my own time. Initially, Thea was the one who invited me first, but the one who would come to my house was the woman, not me who approached the woman. This is so ridiculous! But the reality is like that, Thea is the one who will approach me at home. After everything is done, I immediately grab the flat object containing a thousand people. I immediately pick up my ringing phone. "Gosh, where have you been, me?" I've been calling you since earlier, but why didn't you reply?" Thea asked over the phone. "Ah, yes, sorry, I was a bit busy. Where have you been?" I asked while looking at my appearance in the mirror. "I'll be there in a minute, I called you and told you that I was on my way to your house, I did! But you just picked up my phone," Thea grumbled, annoyed at me. Who wouldn't be annoyed if your friend didn't pick up the phone and reply to messages when they had an appointment? "Sorry then, I don't know, my phone is silent," I lied. It's true that I had no intention of picking up the woman's phone, if she had intended to, I would have warmed up Thea's call earlier, right? "Yes, no problem, wait for me, I'll be there soon." Thea had just hung up her phone. I had just put my phone in when the connection was cut off. I now just have to wait for Thea to come to my house. After a few minutes, Thea finally arrived. I greeted the woman with a sweet smile. "Hi!" she said hello. "Hey, Thea," I replied happily with her sweet smile. "I want to take you for a walk in the city, how about it? Today is a holiday, so there must be a lot of people there. There are also many bazaars. Do you want to?" Thea asked enthusiastically. I nodded in response, not forgetting the sweet smile that bloomed. Ah, it seems like what Thea said was an interesting idea. Besides, I don't have any important activities today either. So it seems like enjoying a holiday in the city is fun, right? "So... you want to, right?" Thea asked once again to make sure I didn't make a sound. I, who heard that, chuckled. It seemed like my nod was the answer, but the woman in front of me asked me again. “Yes, I want to. Besides, I have free time today, I don’t have any important schedules,” she replied. “That’s perfect then. Let’s just take my car, how about that?” Thea offered. Thea looked very happy, you could guess it from the woman’s expression that had been showing her bright smile. After that, they just went to enjoy the holiday together. During the trip, they were busy chatting happily without feeling awkward. Of course, that made Thea happy because she felt close to me. Of course, I responded to Thea with no less enthusiasm. Our conversations were always there as if making us comfortable. When we arrived in the city center, we immediately got out of the car and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. “Oh yeah, I’m very grateful to you, James. Because you want to join me for a walk to enjoy this sunny day," said Thea while smiling sweetly at me. I who heard that laughed happily and said, "I should be the one thanking you, for being willing to come to my house to take me for a walk." "No big deal! I'm ready whenever you want," answered Thea happily. We walked around while observing every corner of the city. Crowded! That could inform the current condition. "By the way, how's your work?" Thea asked in between her steps. "Thank you, so far so good. How about you?" I asked while looking at Thea from the side. Thea smiled sweetly when she accidentally made eye contact with me, before I looked at Thea, Thea's eyes were already on me. "Um, pretty good. Ah yes, pretty good, because it's not that good. There are small obstacles, but I can still overcome them," Thea said. My head nodded in response, as did Thea who looked very comfortable with my presence. I was silent for a few minutes to wrestle with what was in her head. I don't know what the man was thinking that he ignored Thea's call. "James!" I don't know how many times Thea has said my name this time. "Sorry, I'm also thinking about some office matters," I said. Thea who heard it could understand it. Besides, there are always problems at work, right? Thea is the same, whatever it is, there must be a problem that slips in. "Yes, I know. If you need help, can you let me know? Who knows, if I can help you?” she asked. I shook my head slowly. “I should be the one saying that,” I replied. A few seconds later they immediately laughed lightly. “Oh yeah, I met Emma yesterday,” I said suddenly. Thea, who heard that, immediately held me back in confusion. “Where?” “On the way,” I said briefly. Thea just kept quiet, no longer responding to my words. But unlike the man beside her, I seemed to have offended Emma. “What do you think? Can she survive like that? How long do you think?” I asked. “Um, what do you mean, living alone?” Thea asked trying to find out what I meant. I answered with a low nod. Meanwhile, Thea was silent for a moment. "What do you think?" I asked again. "I don't know, I don't know either. Why?" "Nothing, I just asked you to guess, nothing more." Thea smiled sweetly and took my hand.
