Emma's POV
That night, after we returned from the hospital, I felt relieved and full of warmth. Seeing Adolf safely back home was enough to calm my heart. Adney, Ainsley, and Allonza immediately ran to Adolf as soon as we arrived home, their faces bright to welcome his return. I could see how much they missed their brother who had been absent from home for the past few days.
"Adolf! Are you better?" Adney exclaimed, his round eyes sparkling with joy. Allonza, the youngest, also reached out, trying to hug Adolf even though her body was smaller.
Adolf nodded with a wide smile, even though his face was still a little pale. "Yes, I can go home. But my head still hurts a little," he said while gently rubbing the bandage on his head.
