I fell back on the chair with my hand rubbing my aching chest in circular movements. This can’t be fūcking happening. How did I let them get to my mate? To my pups?
“Xavier,” My dad finally broke the silence, placing his hand on my shoulder.
Maximo was howling in pain, making my emotions double and run all over the place. I wanted to sit down and let my emotions consume me, but that wasn’t going to help us. I needed to fūcking act right for my mate and my pups. I needed to focus and find solutions because I can’t accept this.
