It was completely unethical for her to have any contact with them. They had attorneys who would hit the roof if they knew their clients were talking directly to lawyers from the opposing side. I waited, wishing I could be a fly on the wall and hear their conversation. What she was doing was enough to get her fired, if not disbarred.
